You can watch some of The Mandalorian and Grogu early and for free through Fortnite
“The Mandalorian and Grogu” will arrive in theaters on May 22, but Fortnite players will receive early access to the film on May 19. Epic Games announced the Mandalorian and Grogu Watch Party Island in Fortnite Creative, enabling players to view the first ten minutes of the film for free at 10 a.m. EST on May 19.
The island, developed by Fairview Portals and Beyond Creative, is themed after Navarro, a planet featured in the original Disney+ series. The environment includes an amphitheater with a large screen that will display a message from director Jon Favreau before premiering the film’s opening ten minutes.
This exclusive preview represents another collaboration between Epic Games and major entertainment properties, demonstrating how Fortnite’s Creative mode continues to serve as a platform for promotional and entertainment experiences. The Watch Party Island was teased in April and officially added to the platform following the release of the promotional trailer. By offering exclusive content to its player base, Epic Games continues its strategy of integrating mainstream entertainment properties into Fortnite.
