With over two million players already engaged in early access, Subnautica 2 developer Unknown Worlds Entertainment has unveiled its early access roadmap, detailing planned improvements and upcoming features for the game. The first wave of updates will focus on core gameplay systems, including enhancements to the Biomods system, blight encounters, wreck exploration mechanics, vehicle docking and fabrication, PDA databank improvements, and a voicelogs priority system. This initial update will also introduce additional passive Biomod slots, storage cache adjustments, and sprinting functionality. The second update is planned to introduce cooperative multiplayer features, including HUD signals and base builder tools.
