ASUS Shows Off One-Of-A-Kind ROG Xbox Ally X Based On Cyberpunk 2077
ASUS has unveiled a one-of-a-kind custom ROG Xbox Ally X inspired by Cyberpunk 2077. Master craftsman AK Mod created this elaborate modification using layered spray paints, specialized weathering techniques, and custom water decals. The result is a device that evokes Night City, the dystopian setting of Cyberpunk 2077, appearing as if pulled directly from the game itself.
The craftsmanship is remarkably detailed. AK Mod applied sand and salt in targeted areas across both the device and its pedestal to create authentic-looking wear patterns. These weathering techniques produce organic visual aging effects, making the custom hardware appear as though it has endured extended use in a harsh cyberpunk environment, despite being newly completed.
The showcase demonstrates the creative possibilities available to gaming hardware enthusiasts and highlights the broader modding community that surrounds gaming devices. By sharing this unique creation, ASUS signals its appreciation for device customizers and the passionate community invested in its gaming products. For owners of standard black Ally X units, the showcase serves as both inspiration and a reminder of the aesthetic potential that exists beyond factory finishes.
