Ghost of Yotei: Legends has received its last major update according to Sucker Punch
Sucker Punch has announced that Ghost of Yotei: Legends, the multiplayer mode in Ghost of Yotei, will no longer receive major content updates. The developer revealed this decision via a PlayStation Blog post, indicating that last month’s raid—which featured the final two members of the Yotei Six—represents the last significant content addition to the mode.
Ghost of Yotei: Legends is the samurai game’s multiplayer component, which debuted in the original Ghost of Tsushima. In this mode, players battle supernatural versions of the Yotei Six, the main antagonists from the single-player campaign. The mode has been supported with regular content updates since launch, building out the roster of playable characters and endgame challenges.
While Sucker Punch is concluding its active development cycle for Legends, the multiplayer mode will remain fully playable. Players can continue to enjoy existing content, but should not expect major new additions, characters, or raids in the future. This marks a natural conclusion to the live-service support cycle that has sustained the mode since launch.
