Marvel Cosmic Invasion DLC Adds Two New Fighters Today

Marvel Cosmic Invasion is receiving a surprise DLC expansion today, adding two iconic Marvel characters to the beat ’em up’s roster. The $3.99 DLC pack introduces Cyclops (Scott Summers) and The Thing (Ben Grimm) as new playable fighters, each bringing unique movesets and dialogue to the game.

Cyclops, one of the most-requested additions by fans, brings his signature kinetic energy beams to the battle. His optic blasts can be fired diagonally, allowing for versatile combat options as he fights through enemies with his fast-paced attack style befitting the no-nonsense X-Men leader.

The Thing, the Fantastic Four’s powerhouse, excels as a grappling-focused fighter whose cosmic radiation-induced strength makes him a formidable force in combat. Despite his heavy nature, The Thing possesses surprising mobility, allowing him to bounce across environments to gain positional advantages against opponents.

The expansion marks continued support for Tribute Games’ award-winning brawler. The characters arrive as players continue to engage with the title on PlayStation platforms. Meanwhile, the development team has indicated that additional content, including a new game mode, is planned for later in 2026, suggesting the game will receive ongoing updates throughout the year.
