This ‘very distracting’ PC has been filled with screens displaying 15,000 animated gifs in a glorious, migraine-inducing 13 hour+ loop
A Reddit user has created an unconventional gaming PC that prioritizes visual spectacle over gaming performance. The build, titled “My Very Distracting 15,000+ GIF PC,” features a fish tank-style case packed with multiple monitors displaying a continuous loop of over 15,000 animated GIFs that runs for more than 13 hours without repeating.
The project showcases the creative possibilities of PC building beyond traditional gaming setups. Rather than focusing on RGB lighting or optimized internals, the builder filled their case with screens to create a visually chaotic experience. The setup originally incorporated a large number of Lian Li screen-equipped fans, effectively turning the entire case into a mesmerizing display of animated content.
The “migraine-inducing” nature of the build is intentional—designed not for practical use but as an art piece and conversation starter. This type of project exemplifies how PC modding has evolved beyond hardware specifications and performance metrics into creative expression and experimentation. The post gained significant attention on Reddit’s r/pcmasterrace community, reflecting the PC enthusiast community’s appreciation for unconventional builds that push boundaries. It serves as a reminder that while most PC builds prioritize performance and aesthetics, there remains space for projects that prioritize entertainment value and creative vision over traditional functionality.
