Shock, The Developer For Yoshi And The Mysterious Book Is Exactly Who You Think

Good-Feel has been confirmed as the developer of Yoshi and the Mysterious Book, set to launch within days. While Nintendo did not officially announce the studio behind the title, the revelation comes as little surprise given the developer’s long-standing partnership with the company.

The Japanese studio has maintained a close relationship with Nintendo since 2008, when it developed Wario Land: Shake It! for the Wii. Over the years, Good-Feel has become Nintendo’s dedicated studio for the Yoshi franchise, having single-handedly developed the last three mainline titles in the series: Yoshi’s Woolly World, its 3DS port Poochy & Yoshi’s Woolly World, and Yoshi’s Crafted World. The studio’s expertise in the series stretches back further, with Kirby’s Epic Yarn serving as a spiritual precursor to the Yoshi games.

Good-Feel’s consistent involvement with these titles demonstrates Nintendo’s confidence in the studio’s ability to capture the whimsical, artistic aesthetic that defines the modern Yoshi franchise. With Yoshi and the Mysterious Book now arriving, the studio continues its exclusive stewardship of the beloved series.
