Karmine Corp Returns to Esports World Cup Club Partner Program
Karmine Corp has been reinstated into the Esports World Cup Club Partner Program (CPP), a $20 million initiative designed to support esports organisations. The program distributes up to $1 million each to 40 clubs ahead of the Esports World Cup 2026.
KCorp’s readmission comes after the organisation was initially omitted from the program despite participating the previous year. The surprise exclusion also affected other major teams including FaZe Clan, Movistar KOI, and LOUD. According to KCorp’s former CEO Arthur Pericoz, the omission was projected to cost the organisation between $200,000 and $300,000 compared to 2025.
The organisation secured a spot after Heroic was stripped of its EWC Partner status following the team’s withdrawal from Dota 2. Since Heroic no longer maintained a Dota 2 roster, it no longer met the requirements for the program, freeing up a slot for KCorp’s reinstatement.
