oDin Steps Down as DN SOOPers Coach After Historic Loss-Streak

DN SOOPers coach Ju ‘oDin’ Yeong-dal has stepped down following the organization’s historic 13-game series losing streak in the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea). The team failed to secure a single victory during this stretch. Yu ‘Ggoong’ Byeong-jun has assumed the interim coaching role as DN SOOPers searches for a permanent replacement.

The collapse comes as a significant disappointment after an ambitious offseason. Hoping to revitalize their competitive standing in 2026, DN SOOPers invested heavily by signing two Worlds 2025 Grand Finalists: ADC Seo ‘deokdam’ Dae-gil and support Jeong ‘Peter’ Yoon-su, both previously of KT Rolster. The high-profile acquisitions were expected to elevate the organization’s competitive threat and represented a major loss for KT Rolster, who lost their successful bot lane duo.

Despite the promising roster moves heading into the season, DN SOOPers struggled considerably, ultimately leading to oDin’s departure as he assumed responsibility for the team’s poor performance. The organization now faces the challenge of finding a new head coach to stabilize the roster during what has become a turbulent 2026 season.
