5 PS Plus Extra Game Removals for June 2026 Confirmed
Five games are being removed from PlayStation Plus Extra tier on June 16, 2026. The departing titles include We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie, LEGO The Incredibles, Lawn Mowing Simulator, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition, and Red Dead Redemption, which will become unavailable across PS5 and PS4 platforms.
The removals represent the regular monthly rotation of titles from Sony’s PlayStation Plus Extra subscription tier. Unlike the PS Plus Essential tier, where subscribers retain access to claimed games as long as their subscription remains active, the PS Plus Extra tier revokes access to departing games upon their removal date.
PlayStation announced the departures through the “Last Chance to Play” section displayed on PS5 consoles, giving subscribers advance notice before the June removal date. Players interested in continuing to play these titles after June 16 will need to purchase them individually, as the PS Plus Extra subscription will no longer grant access.
The rotating library model remains a key aspect of PlayStation’s tiered subscription strategy. While PS Plus Extra provides rotating access to a curated selection of games, subscribers seeking permanent access to specific titles must either purchase them outright or maintain active subscriptions with the understanding that featured content changes monthly.
