USA Esports and Korea’s KeSPA Announce Strategic Partnership

USA Esports, a newly established non-profit organization founded in 2026, has announced a strategic partnership with the Korean eSports Association (KeSPA), one of the most recognized governing bodies in the esports industry. The partnership represents a significant milestone for the American esports ecosystem as USA Esports pursues Olympic recognition and seeks to become the official national governing body for esports in the United States.

USA Esports currently serves as the national partner for the upcoming Esports Nations Cup and has secured support from eleven major North American esports organizations, including prominent teams Team Liquid and 100 Thieves. The organization’s credibility is further bolstered by its Board of Directors, which includes retired professional players Jordan ’n0thing’ Gilbert and Soren ‘Bjergsen’ Bjerg, bringing substantial esports expertise to the governance structure.

The collaboration with KeSPA is particularly significant given South Korea’s dominant position and rich history in competitive esports. As part of the partnership announcement, KeSPA has committed to returning to the Esports Nations Cup, demonstrating the international cooperation and recognition that USA Esports has already achieved in its early operations. This partnership underscores the growing professionalization and legitimization of esports on the global stage.
