Zowie EC2-DW review
PC Gamer reviews the Zowie EC2-DW gaming mouse, a peripheral designed with palm-grip users in mind. The mouse is particularly well-suited for players of tactical shooters like Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant.
The EC2-DW offers several appealing features including sturdy construction, an ergonomic shape optimized for palm grip, premium coating, and wireless charging capability. A notable advantage is that it operates without requiring drivers or proprietary software, simplifying setup across different systems.
However, the mouse has some drawbacks that may limit its appeal. Customization options are limited, it lacks the lightweight design of some competitors, and the premium price point represents a significant investment. Additionally, the coating is prone to showing fingerprints.
PC Gamer’s verdict is that the EC2-DW is ideal for palm-grip gamers focused on competitive tactical shooters, but may not offer sufficient value for players outside these specific categories or with different grip preferences.
