Forza Horizon 6 Smashes Concurrent Player Record For Xbox Game Studios On Steam
Forza Horizon 6 has set a new concurrent player record for Xbox Game Studios titles on Steam, reaching a peak of 273,148 simultaneous players on its launch day, May 19th, 2026. The achievement surpasses the previous record holder, Halo Infinite, by approximately 500 players, making it the most-played Xbox Game Studios title on the platform in terms of concurrent players.
The record-breaking performance builds on strong momentum from the game’s early access period, which had already demonstrated significant player interest ahead of the full release. This result represents a major milestone for Playground Games and underscores the continued popularity of the Forza Horizon franchise on PC.
The substantial launch day player count highlights the success of the game’s Steam strategy and indicates robust engagement from both returning franchise fans and new players discovering the title on the platform.
