Did You Get In? Horizon Hunters Gathering PS5 Beta Invites Rolling Out
Guerrilla Games is rolling out beta invites for Horizon Hunters Gathering, a co-op multiplayer spin-off in the Horizon franchise, exclusively on PS5. The Dutch developer announced that invitations for Closed Playtest #2 are being distributed in waves to players who previously registered through the PS5 beta programme. Players are advised to check their email inbox including spam and promotions folders, as invitation messages may be caught by email filters. Guerrilla Games confirmed that additional invites will be released in subsequent waves, rather than sending all invitations simultaneously.
The closed playtest provides an avenue for gathering community feedback during game development. However, the spin-off has already generated mixed reactions among fans of the franchise. Sentiment within the Horizon community regarding the game has been notably negative. Despite this lukewarm reception from players, Guerrilla Games appears committed to continuing development of the title through ongoing playtest phases.
