Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures collection confirmed by Marvel
Marvel is releasing Indiana Jones: The Further Adventures, an upcoming hardcover collection that brings together classic Indiana Jones comic book stories from the 1980s. The collection will span two “leatherette” volumes and feature both official movie-to-comic adaptations and new original material.
The package will include Marvel’s comic adaptations of the first three Indiana Jones films: Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Alongside these adaptations, the collection will compile The Further Adventures of Indiana Jones, an original monthly series that Marvel published during the era. This series ran for 34 issues and expanded the Indiana Jones universe with stories featuring both familiar characters from the films and new characters in previously untold adventures.
The announcement marks a notable revival of interest in Indiana Jones comics material, bringing these classic stories back into print for modern collectors and fans who may have missed the original publications.
