Pokémon TCG Pocket Smashes 200 Million Downloads & Counting
Pokémon TCG Pocket has achieved a major milestone, surpassing 200 million downloads worldwide and establishing itself as one of the most successful mobile games globally. The free-to-play title faithfully replicates the traditional Pokémon card-collecting experience in digital form, allowing players to open card packs, battle friends competitively, and accumulate rare cards to complete their collections.
The game has experienced sustained growth since launch. Recent developments include the leaking of a new raid mode set to expand the game’s features. Rather than implementing traditional raid mechanics, this collaborative feature will allow players to open card packs together in shared lobbies, with exclusive “Raid Packs” available during these group sessions.
The continued post-launch support and new features demonstrate The Pokémon Company’s commitment to maintaining player engagement and evolving Pokémon TCG Pocket as a live-service title, positioning it for sustained success in the competitive mobile gaming market.
