Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 Coming to Consoles in 2026
Poppy Playtime Chapter 5, the latest installment in the popular indie horror franchise, is making its way to consoles on May 27, 2026. The game has already been available to PC players, and now PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch owners will have the opportunity to experience the fifth chapter of the series.
Despite its cute character names—including the now-iconic Huggy Wuggy and Kissy Missy—Poppy Playtime Chapter 5 delivers considerable scares and horror elements that have resonated with players across PC platforms. The game represents the continued success of what began as an indie title but has now transcended that status to become a hit franchise.
The console release marks an expansion of the franchise’s reach beyond PC, bringing the horror experience to a broader audience. Chapter 5 is being described as the fifth—and potentially final—chapter of the series, adding to the significance of the console release for fans who may have been waiting for this installment to reach their preferred platforms.
