Bhashiva’s tiger warriors are an addition to Total War: Warhammer 3 worth the money and the wait
Bhashiva’s tiger warriors have been added to Total War: Warhammer 3, fulfilling a two-decade wait for fans of the Warhammer franchise. The addition traces back to a 2006 Warhammer TTRPG supplement called “Tome of Corruption” that featured the first illustration of tiger-headed warriors from the Warhammer World’s distant nation of Ind.
While tiger-headed beastmen were hinted at in earlier Warhammer lore, this DLC marks their first major playable implementation in the gaming series. The addition is described as worthwhile for both gameplay value and the fulfillment of long-standing community requests.
The expansion offers creative gameplay possibilities by allowing players to ally with multiple factions to build themed armies. Players can combine Bhashiva’s tiger warriors with Chrace’s white lions and Kislev’s bears, creating diverse unit compositions. This flexibility enables players to construct imaginative mythical beast-warrior armies, playfully referencing the concept of “lions and tigers and bears.” The DLC represents a meaningful addition that delivers solid gameplay content alongside the satisfaction of finally seeing this classic Warhammer lore realized in the game.
