Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Shadowdrops Purgation Update, Patch 13 Adds New PvE Mission and a Lot More
Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 has received a shadowdropped Purgation Update (Patch 13), launching immediately across all platforms in conjunction with the Warhammer Skulls showcase. The substantial content update brings significant additions and improvements to the live-service game.
Patch 13 introduces a new PvE mission alongside a major update to the game’s Siege Mode, expanding endgame content options for players. A new weapon, the Bolt Carbine Sidearm, has been added to the arsenal, providing players with additional loadout variety. The Battle-Barge hub area has also been enhanced with a new Practice Arena, offering players additional ways to refine their combat skills.
The update also debuts the Iron Hands Chapter Pack DLC, representing the final First Founding loyalist Chapter to receive dedicated cosmetic content. The pack is being made available free to all Season Pass 2 owners, ensuring season pass subscribers receive the content at no additional cost. The Iron Hands pack includes cosmetic enhancements honoring the 10th Legion, featuring a Techmarine Champion skin, an exclusive Omnissian Axe skin variant, and four unique mechanical armor pieces that reflect the chapter’s faction identity and lore within the Warhammer 40,000 universe.
