Take-Two Plans to Release 29 Titles Through FY2029

Take-Two Interactive has revealed ambitious expansion plans following its fiscal year 2026 earnings report released on May 21. The publisher intends to launch 29 new titles across the period from FY2027 through FY2029, demonstrating a significant commitment to diverse game portfolios and franchise expansion.

The planned releases span multiple categories. Among the portfolio are three mobile titles, with CSR 3 from Zynga being the only one specifically named. The company will also release eight sports games during this window, including 2027 iterations of flagship franchises NBA 2K, PGA Tour 2K, and WWE 2K. These sports titles reflect Take-Two’s continued investment in the annual sports gaming market.

A substantial portion of the 29 planned releases—fifteen titles—will be part of existing core intellectual properties, ensuring that established franchises remain central to Take-Two’s strategy. The most high-profile of these is Grand Theft Auto 6, which is scheduled for release on November 19, marking one of the year’s most anticipated gaming releases.

Beyond established franchises, Take-Two’s slate includes three new core franchise debuts, though specific details about these new properties were not disclosed in the earnings announcement. This combination of sequels, remakes, platform extensions, and entirely new franchises suggests a balanced approach to portfolio management—leveraging proven properties while simultaneously investing in fresh intellectual property to capture new audiences and maintain long-term growth.

The comprehensive release schedule positions Take-Two as one of gaming’s most prolific publishers over the coming fiscal years, with offerings designed to appeal to various gaming demographics across mobile, console, and sports gaming audiences.
