All Forza Horizon 6 Welcome to Japan Summer Festival Playlist Events, Challenges & Rewards

Forza Horizon 6 has launched its first live-service Festival Playlist titled “Welcome to Japan,” which began on May 28 with a Summer season setting. The playlist spans four weeks and features rotating challenges, seasonal map changes, and exclusive rewards including new vehicles.

The Welcome to Japan playlist includes daily and weekly challenges with varying difficulty levels. Notable events include the Ohtani region Treasure Hunt, where players locate a chest near the Kinkaku-Ji Temple using photo clues, and the Hakone Nanamagari touge race—a challenging mountain race with numerous hairpin turns that requires winning while driving the 2022 Toyota GR86. Additional challenges such as “Welcome to the Party, Pal!” require completing Horizon Stunt Party events, which appear as pink circles on the map.

Forza Horizon 6 features a Skill Points progression system tied to various racing activities. Speed Skills are earned by maintaining speeds of at least 100 mph for several seconds, with multiple tiers offering increasing point values. Challenges like “Floor It!” require earning Great Speed Skills, while other tasks demand vehicle-specific achievements. Skill Points can be spent on car-specific upgrades, including boosts to earnings and instant rewards like Wheelspins.

Completing Festival Playlist challenges provides exclusive rewards and progression through the seasonal content cycle. The system encourages engagement across different race types and vehicles throughout the four-week period. With the game now available worldwide following its early access period, the live-service structure marks the beginning of Forza Horizon 6’s ongoing seasonal updates and community challenges.
