It’s Lenovo a-go-go as the company is responsible for nearly 1 in 4 of all PCs shipped worldwide
Lenovo has solidified its position as the world’s leading PC manufacturer, capturing 24.4% of the global PC market in its 2025/26 financial year. The company announced these results as part of what it described as the “strongest year in the group’s history,” reflecting continued dominance in the personal computer sector.
The market leadership underscores Lenovo’s significant competitive advantage over its nearest rival, HP, which holds the second-place position. Notably, the gap between Lenovo and HP has widened to its largest margin in 15 years, indicating that Lenovo’s lead in the PC market has substantially increased rather than merely held steady. This growing separation suggests strong execution by Lenovo in areas such as product development, supply chain management, or market positioning.
