Two More Fate/Stay Night Characters Are Coming to PS5 RPG Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai: Star Rail will expand its ongoing collaboration with Fate/Stay Night this summer with two new crossover characters: Rin Tohsaka and Gilgamesh, also known as Archer. HoYoverse will make Gilgamesh available as a free login reward for players, offering a valuable addition to longtime rosters. Further details about the collaboration are expected to be revealed later in the year.
The character announcement accompanies the June 1st release of version 4.3, which continues the Planarcadia storyline and introduces Mortenax Blade as a new playable 5-Star character. This iteration of Blade comes with a refreshed visual design and completely rebooted combat mechanics reflecting his evolved narrative status within the game. The update’s first phase will also feature a rerun of Yao Guang.
The Fate/Stay Night crossover builds on a growing partnership between HoYoverse and Type-Moon’s legendary visual novel franchise, bringing beloved characters from one of gaming’s most influential stories to the action RPG.
