BitSummit Day 3 Report: Golfing with rubber ducks, the joy of Mr Footy and Namco’s Suika Game rival
BitSummit, an annual indie game festival held in Kyoto, Japan at the Miyako Messe exhibition hall, has concluded its three-day event. This year’s festival marked the largest attendance yet, with long queues of international indie developers and publishers showcasing their work throughout the venue.
The festival featured several notable indie game titles. Yodelee Golf was a highlight, playable via a unique custom golf cart setup equipped with built-in televisions. Other games on display included Mr Footy and a Suika Game competitor from a major publisher.
BitSummit’s growth year-over-year underscores the increasing global prominence of independent game development and the festival’s importance as a major platform for indie creators to reach international audiences and industry professionals. The festival has solidified its position as one of Asia’s leading indie game showcase events.
