‘Take My Goddamn Money’: PS5 Fans Seem Ready for Electrifying inFAMOUS Collection
A poll conducted by Push Square among over 3,000 PS5 fans reveals overwhelming interest in an inFAMOUS Collection featuring Sucker Punch’s acclaimed PS3 superhero games. Results demonstrate strong demand, with 82% of respondents indicating they would purchase some form of the collection. Specifically, 61% expressed immediate interest, declaring “take my goddamn money now,” while 21% stated they would buy it pending additional details about pricing and gameplay improvements. Only 3% showed no interest, and 8% indicated they would consider a discounted purchase.
Speculation about an inFAMOUS Collection gained momentum following reports from Video Game Chronicle’s Jordan Middler, who cited a single source for the rumor. Sacred Symbols host Colin Moriarty subsequently lent credibility to the speculation by referencing an old Sucker Punch blog post that appeared to support the project’s existence, though complete details remain unclear.
The poll results indicate substantial consumer appetite for a modernized compilation of the inFAMOUS franchise, featuring the original game and its sequel. This demonstrated fan enthusiasm could influence Sucker Punch and PlayStation Studios’ decision-making regarding an official release.
