Team Vitality’s Naak Nako Named LEC Spring 2026 MVP

Team Vitality’s top laner Kaan ‘Naak Nako’ Okan has been named the LEC Spring 2026 MVP, becoming the first top laner to win the award in nine years. Naak Nako led the League of Legends Championship series with impressive regular season statistics, including a league-leading 675 average gold difference at 15 minutes and 640 XP difference at 15 minutes. He also secured the second-most solo kills in the split with 17.

Naak Nako’s individual excellence translated to team success during the regular season, as he led Vitality to a surprising first-place finish. However, the team’s playoff performance has been significantly less successful, with Vitality suffering a 3-0 sweep at the hands of MKOI in their opening matchup.

The MVP award marks a milestone for the position, with Naak Nako following in the footsteps of Tamás ‘Vizicsacsi’ Kiss of Unicorns of Love, who won the LEC MVP in Spring 2017. Despite his accolades, Naak Nako’s playoff struggles alongside his team come as a disappointing contrast to his dominant regular season performance. The voting was notably close, with MKOI’s Joseph Joon ‘Jojopyun’ Pyun receiving one additional first-place MVP vote despite finishing second in overall voting.
