The Next Kingdom Come Game Is a Lot Closer Than You Think

Warhorse Studios has announced an ambitious timeline for its next Kingdom Come game, revealing that the title is targeting a launch window between April 2027 and March 2028. Community manager Tom Grey confirmed the timeline during a recent livestream, stating the studio won’t require players to wait as long as they did between previous entries.

The announcement is noteworthy considering Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 only released in February 2025 to critical acclaim. The original Kingdom Come: Deliverance launched in 2018, creating a seven-year gap that left many fans uncertain about when a third installment would arrive.

The planned 2027-2028 release window represents a significantly faster development cycle compared to the franchise’s history and typical AAA game production timelines, which commonly span five or more years. This accelerated schedule suggests Warhorse Studios has learned from its previous development experiences and may have streamlined its production pipeline following the success of Deliverance 2.
