It Seems Most PS5 Fans Prefer Returnal Over Saros, But It’s Not That Straightforward
A Push Square poll surveyed readers to determine which of Housemarque’s PlayStation 5 games they prefer: Returnal or Saros. With thousands of votes cast across multiple questions, the survey provides insight into fan preferences between the two titles developed by the studio.
The poll results show that Returnal is the more popular choice among readers, garnering 43% of votes, while the more recently released Saros received 35% of the vote. The article’s author acknowledges the difficulty in choosing between them, highlighting Returnal’s brutal difficulty and oppressive atmosphere as defining strengths, while praising Saros for its enhanced gameplay and overall fun factor that edges it ahead in some respects.
The poll also included a question about which game offers superior overall gameplay, though the article excerpt cuts off before those results are revealed. The survey represents the preferences of Push Square’s readership regarding Housemarque’s PlayStation 5 catalog, demonstrating a clear but not overwhelming preference for Returnal among the audience.
