Embark Clarifies Live Service Update Schedule For ARC Raiders
Embark Studios has outlined the live service update roadmap for ARC Raiders, confirming that players will receive new content approximately every three weeks. This announcement builds on the studio’s earlier strategic shift toward a more deliberate release schedule, with just two major updates planned annually.
The new cadence aims to deliver larger, more substantial releases rather than frequent smaller updates. The next major update, titled Frozen Trails, is set to launch in October. However, players won’t need to wait that long for new additions, as the three-week cycle ensures regular content drops between major releases.
According to a blog post from the studio that also addressed trading price adjustments for a character or system called Ermal, this ongoing update strategy represents Embark’s commitment to providing consistent content while maintaining quality standards for each release.
This approach reflects broader industry trends in live service games, where studios are increasingly prioritizing quality over quantity in update schedules.
