Pokémon Go ‘Blanche’s Quest for Knowledge’ event guide
Pokémon Go is launching a series of team leader-themed events, starting with “Blanche’s Quest for Knowledge,” which runs from May 26 through June 1. The event focuses on a specific group of Pokémon, with Lapras wearing a Blanche-themed accessory as the featured creature. The event employs Field Research mechanics, encouraging players to complete research tasks in exchange for rewards. Like recent Pokémon Go events, it includes a premium battle pass offering additional rewards beyond the standard free event content, featuring the special Lapras variant and other exclusive items. This event marks the first of three planned encounters with the game’s team leaders, with similar events expected to follow in subsequent weeks. The structure demonstrates Pokémon Go’s continued focus on time-limited events as a mechanism to drive player engagement and retention, combining gameplay activities, cosmetic variations, and monetized premium content tiers.
