This Magic: The Gathering card from Secrets of Strixhaven has an awesome combo with a forgotten Mythic
Magic: The Gathering’s Secrets of Strixhaven set introduces compelling combo mechanics, particularly within blue-red (Izzet) strategies. Muddle, the Ever-Changing, featured in the Prismari Artistry Commander precon deck, exemplifies this synergy potential. The card is a 3/3 Elemental Otter Shapeshifter that costs four mana and triggers a powerful effect whenever the controller casts an instant or sorcery spell: Muddle becomes a copy of a target non-legendary creature they control until end of turn, gaining the myriad keyword in the process.
The myriad keyword amplifies this effect significantly by creating attacking token copies of the creature whenever it attacks, enabling exponential board development and intricate combo chains. This mechanic combines effectively with a previously overlooked Mythic card to create particularly strong strategies, showcasing the strategic depth available in Secrets of Strixhaven for both casual collectors and competitive players.
