VCT Americas to host First Brazilian Event With Stage 2 Finals in São Paulo
Riot Games has announced that the VCT (Valorant Champions Tour) Americas 2026 Stage 2 Finals will be held in São Paulo, Brazil, marking the first time the regional championship series has hosted a major event outside North America. The tournament will take place September 4-6 at Suhai Music Hall, which has a capacity of over 9,000 spectators.
This represents a significant shift for the VCT Americas, which has traditionally been based at the Riot Games Arena in Los Angeles. The relocation to Brazil reflects Riot Games’ efforts to expand the Valorant esports ecosystem geographically and bring competitive play closer to the region’s passionate fanbase.
São Paulo is no stranger to major Valorant events, having hosted LOCK//IN 2023, a prestigious international tournament that was won by Fnatic. The venue change demonstrates Riot Games’ confidence in Brazil’s esports infrastructure and its ability to host world-class competitive events.
