All 007: First Light Cameos—Every Celebrity Cameo in 007: First Light
IO Interactive’s 007: First Light has achieved critical acclaim as the highest-rated James Bond video game in three decades. The game successfully distinguishes itself from the developer’s Hitman franchise, addressing early concerns about whether IO Interactive could create a sufficiently distinct Bond experience.
The game features an extensive roster of celebrity cameos integrated throughout the gameplay. Chase & Status, the England-based electronic music duo, appears as a confirmed cameo in a mission set in an underground club, utilizing mission design reminiscent of IO Interactive’s Hitman series—environmental-focused objectives and player agency in how targets are approached.
The critical reception suggests IO Interactive has achieved a significant milestone for the James Bond video game franchise, which has had an inconsistent track record over the past several decades. The game has been described as a “masterful, must-own title” that validates the developer’s ability to create compelling, distinct experiences within different franchises. The integration of celebrity cameos appears to be a key feature designed to enhance player engagement and provide additional star power throughout the experience.
