Esports World Cup 2026 Announces Paris Venue

The Esports Foundation has announced that the Esports World Cup 2026 will be held in Paris at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, relocating from its originally planned venue in Riyadh. The move responds to ongoing military conflicts in the Middle East.

The tournament will feature competitions across 25 different esports titles, attracting over 2,000 players from more than 100 countries competing across 200+ teams. The event features a record-breaking $75 million prize pool, reflecting the growing scale and investment in competitive gaming globally.

Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, France’s second-largest exhibition centre, was the primary esports venue during the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympics, making it an established location for hosting major international competitive gaming events. Despite the venue change, the Esports World Cup maintains its original schedule, running from July 6 through August 23, 2026.
