Spider-Man season 2 release, news, and everything we know so far
All eight episodes of Prime Video’s animated Spider-Noir series debuted on May 27, featuring Nicolas Cage as private investigator Ben Reilly and his vigilante alter-ego The Spider. The stylish series delivers a complete standalone narrative with sharp dialogue and inventive reimaginings of Spider-Man’s rogues gallery, including a satisfying conclusion that also opens the door for future cases.
While Amazon has not officially announced a second season, the creative team expressed strong interest in continuing the story. Showrunner Oren Uziel and producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller told The Hollywood Reporter they would like to develop more content and specifically designed the first season with that possibility in mind. The narrative framework leaves room for expansion, though no greenlight has been given for Spider-Noir’s return.
