Jackbox Games’ Upcoming Release Is Basically An Aussie ‘Thank Goodness You’re Here’

Melbourne-based studio Toot Games has announced My Arms Are Longer Now, an upcoming game for Nintendo Switch and PC. Combining absurd comedy with puzzle-solving and stealth mechanics, the title draws inspiration from games like Thank Goodness You’re Here and Untitled Goose Game. The game is scheduled for a PC release this year, with Switch versions (for both the original Switch and Switch 2) following in 2027.

Gameplay involves maneuvering through various environments to steal valuable items and create chaos. Early footage suggests a strong emphasis on art style and comedic tone, with absurdist humor driving the experience. The game’s creative direction is shaped by Toot Games’ co-founder and narrative lead Millie Holten.

With its blend of quirky aesthetics and puzzle-driven gameplay, My Arms Are Longer Now appears positioned to appeal to players who enjoyed similar comedy-focused puzzle adventures, emphasizing creative problem-solving and humorous interactions over traditional action gameplay.
