Fortnite Is Giving Out A Bunch Of Free Stuff, But Only On Saturday
Epic Games is hosting a special “community day” event in Fortnite on Saturday, May 30, offering players multiple free cosmetics and exclusive content. The promotional event runs from 9 AM ET on May 30 through 9 AM ET on May 31, providing login rewards to all players who access the game during this window.
Players who log in during the community day window will automatically receive the Reflector weapon wrap and the Community Brella cosmetics at no cost. Additionally, players who achieve a Battle Royale victory during this period will unlock additional free cosmetics, rewarding skilled players with bonus rewards. Battle pass owners will also receive a bonus style for The Foundation (Reforged) skin, providing extra value for players with active passes.
Beyond cosmetic rewards, the community day will feature limited-time gameplay changes available exclusively on May 30, adding fresh mechanics and variety to the standard experience. The event also serves as the first official teaser for the upcoming Chapter 7 Season 3, giving players their first glimpse at content coming in the next major seasonal update.
The timing of this community day appears designed to drive engagement and celebrate the player base, a common strategy for live-service games. By offering free cosmetics tied to login and victory conditions, Epic Games encourages both casual engagement and competitive play. The inclusion of battle pass bonuses also provides added incentive for players to maintain active battle pass purchases.
