The Original Pikmin Soundtrack Has Been Added To Nintendo Music

Nintendo Music, the subscription music app for Nintendo Switch Online subscribers, has received an update featuring the complete original Pikmin soundtrack. The GameCube classic, which debuted in 2001-2002, now has its full score available on the service.

The soundtrack comprises 33 tracks totaling one hour of music and was composed by Hajime Wakai, a prolific composer known for his work across the Pikmin franchise and other notable Nintendo titles including The Legend of Zelda and Star Fox. The collection includes iconic pieces such as the title screen theme, gameplay tracks like “They Carry, Fight, Multiply and Get Eaten,” and atmospheric music accompanying key moments throughout the original adventure.

This addition continues Nintendo’s ongoing efforts to expand the Nintendo Music catalog, making classic video game soundtracks readily available to Switch Online subscribers. The service has been progressively building its library with music from Nintendo’s extensive back catalog, allowing both longtime fans and new players to discover or revisit the musical scores that defined gaming experiences across decades.
