LEGO Batman Has Sold Pretty Well On Xbox So Far, Despite Forza & 007 Stealing The Limelight

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight launched in late May alongside two other major Xbox titles—007 First Light and Forza Horizon 6—which garnered most of the platform’s attention during the period. Despite the competitive landscape and reduced media spotlight, the LEGO Batman title has demonstrated solid sales performance across multiple platforms.

According to sales estimates from Alinea Analytics, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight sold approximately 1.2 million copies during its first main week of availability. This figure comes after three days of paid early access that preceded the official launch window. The sales breakdown shows that Xbox platforms captured more than 25% of these initial sales, representing a substantial portion of the total and indicating strong performance on Microsoft’s consoles despite simultaneous competition from the high-profile releases of Forza Horizon 6 and 007 First Light.

While the game hasn’t achieved blockbuster status comparable to those two competing titles, the sales figures suggest LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight has performed respectably in a crowded release window. The Xbox performance is particularly noteworthy given that it represents at least one-quarter of total sales while competing against major first-party titles on the same platform. The game’s multiplatform availability across PlayStation 5 and Xbox has helped distribute sales across the broader gaming market.
