TIGA appoints Elaine Green as chair

UK game industry trade body TIGA has appointed Elaine Green as its new chair. Green, who co-founded the Brighton-based studio Nellyvision in 2010, brings over two decades of experience in game development and publishing to the role. She has served on TIGA’s board since 2013 and replaces Jason Kingsley, the co-founder and CEO of developer Rebellion, who has led the organization since helping establish it in 2001.

Green expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating she is “honoured to take on the role of chair at such an important and exciting time for TIGA.” She also thanked the board members for their confidence and acknowledged Kingsley’s continued support.

Kingsley’s leadership of TIGA over the past two decades saw him help shape the UK game development industry’s advocacy and support mechanisms during a period of significant growth for British studios.
