Gears of War: Reloaded and High on Life 2 headline this week’s Xbox Free Play Days
Xbox is hosting Free Play Days from May 28-31, 2026, offering players free access to several titles including Gears of War: Reloaded and High on Life 2, which headline the weekend’s promotion. The event provides a limited-time opportunity for players to try games before purchasing them.
The Free Play Days lineup includes Dying Light and Formula Legends alongside the featured titles. To access these free games, players can navigate to the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store. While an Xbox Game Pass subscription is noted as beneficial for the promotion, the article indicates that some games in the lineup are playable even without an active subscription.
Free Play Days is a recurring Xbox initiative designed to allow players to sample rotating selections of games across various genres. The promotion runs through May 31, 2026.
