Video: 11 Exciting New Games Coming To Switch 1 & 2 In June 2026
June 2026 is shaping up to be a particularly busy month for Nintendo Switch releases, with a diverse lineup spanning first-party titles, major ports, and indie games.
The month begins with Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, launching on Switch 2 on June 3rd. This sequel to Final Fantasy VII Remake, which released in January 2026, marks a significant AAA port to Nintendo’s latest hardware, bringing the massive remake project to Switch 2 owners.
Nintendo’s major first-party offering for the month is Star Fox, a modernized version of the beloved N64 classic. The game brings Fox McCloud and his crew back into action as they work to retake the Lylat System from the series antagonist Andross. This revival of the cherished franchise represents one of the month’s headline releases.
Beyond these marquee titles, the Switch lineup includes additional notable releases such as Tetris and The Adventures of Elliot, alongside various indie titles and other ports. The diverse range of releases—combining AAA adaptations, first-party entries, and indie offerings—reflects the platform’s broad appeal and continued momentum in 2026.
