Wuthering Waves’ Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Collab Looks Stunning
Wuthering Waves is launching a collaboration with Netflix’s Cyberpunk: Edgerunners anime on June 8th as part of version 3.4 update. The crossover event introduces two new 5-Star Resonator characters—Lucy and Rebecca—designed to match their appearance in the anime series.
The collaboration features dedicated gacha mechanics with a distinct currency pool separate from the standard Radiant Tides system. Players cannot use accumulated Radiant Tides currency for these crossover pulls. However, Astrite—the game’s premium currency—can be converted into the event-specific currency, providing a conversion pathway for existing players.
To encourage participation, multiple in-game events will offer free pull opportunities throughout the limited-time collaboration. Additionally, all players will receive Rebecca as a guaranteed free character, eliminating the need to spend resources to obtain her.
This partnership bridges the live-service gacha game with Netflix’s Cyberpunk anime adaptation, bringing recognizable characters from the animated series into the interactive experience.
