Forza Horizon 6’s Estate is overrun with pointless XP and Skill Point farms
Forza Horizon 6’s new Estate feature allows players to customize a house and expansive lot using in-game creation tools. While the feature was envisioned for creative expression, the community initially flooded the trending section with low-effort XP and Skill Point farms—automated builds designed purely to grind progression with minimal actual gameplay.
Since launch, the situation has noticeably improved. The Estate now showcases more ambitious player creations, including mansions with integrated parking garages and social spaces, elaborate landscaping featuring cherry trees, custom drift courses, and racing tracks. One standout recreation faithfully reproduced Laguna Seca Raceway at full scale, demonstrating the creative potential of the tools.
However, despite this creative evolution, XP and Skill Point farms remain dominant in the trending builds section. This reflects an ongoing tension in Forza Horizon 6’s community between grinding mechanics that encourage repetitive automation and the platform’s intent to foster imagination and player expression. While the diversity of Estate creations has expanded beyond purely utilitarian farms, the prevalence of progression-focused builds suggests the game’s reward systems continue to incentivize low-effort farming over engaging with the creative tools.
