The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2026—Everything Announced
The MIX Summer Game Showcase 2026 took place on June 1, 2026, featuring over 60 indie games across multiple platforms. The event streamed on Twitch and YouTube from Noon ET (9am PT) and included world premiere trailers, gameplay sessions, and developer interviews.
Several major announcements emerged, particularly for Xbox players. “Monsters Are Coming!”, a tower-survivor rogue-lite top-down bullet-hell action game, was announced for Xbox Game Pass with an August 6, 2026 release date (it’s already available on PC Game Pass). A sequel to the acclaimed “Raji: An Ancient Epic” was also announced for Xbox Game Pass, though specific release details weren’t provided in the showcase.
Other notable announcements included “Wild Blue Skies,” a spiritual successor to Star Fox 64, which is set to launch in August across various platforms, though it will not be available through Game Pass. Additional games revealed included “13Z: The Zodiac Trials,” “Toxic Crusaders,” and “Brokenlore: Don’t Lie.”
The showcase marked the beginning of gaming’s major summer announcement season, following the inaugural Insider Gaming Showcase the previous week. With over 60 games featured, the event highlighted the diversity of indie gaming across multiple platforms and showcased upcoming titles ranging from action games to narrative-driven experiences.
