Multi-award winning indie game Consume Me is out now on iOS
Consume Me, the award-winning indie game that won the prestigious 2025 Seumas McNally Grand Prize at the Independent Game Festival, has launched on iOS. The game is now available for iPhone and iPad.
Developer Jenny Jiao Hsia announced the release and emphasized that the iOS platform represents the ideal way to experience the game. She notes that she always envisioned Consume Me as a phone game, partly because she doesn’t consider herself a traditional gamer. “I made this game for my younger self who did not really play games on the computer,” Hsia explained.
The game combines food-based minigames and time management tasks with an autobiographical narrative exploring the difficult experience of high school. Hsia and collaborator AP Thomson began development as undergraduates, and after a decade of work, their effort culminated in winning the Independent Game Festival’s top award in 2025.
The iOS release marks the game’s arrival on the platform its creator always intended for it, bringing Consume Me to mobile players.
