Turn-based RPG Entropy offers up a world abandoned by the gods that looks like a PS1 game fished from a toilet
Lovely Hellplace, the studio behind Dread Delusion, has unveiled Entropy, a new turn-based RPG set in a world abandoned by the gods. The game features a distinctive retro aesthetic inspired by PS1-era graphics, creating a deliberately degraded visual style that contributes to its dark, unsettling atmosphere.
Entropy presents a surreal and grotesque take on demon-infested fantasy combat. Rather than conventional monster designs, the game features disturbing enemies composed of isolated body parts—such as a walking pair of lungs that can be targeted in specific anatomical areas to disrupt their abilities. Combat encounters showcase absurdist scenarios, including NPCs interrogating a severed demon head in a chaotic, post-apocalyptic setting.
The demo showcases Lovely Hellplace’s blend of dark humor and unsettling creature design, combining PS1-nostalgia aesthetics with grotesque horror elements and tactical turn-based gameplay where targeting specific enemy anatomy influences combat success.
