Halo 3 “1v1 Me Bro” Tournament Announced, Top Prize Is A Legendary Console
GameStop announced a 1v1 Halo 3 tournament on Saturday, June 6 at its Euless, Texas location. The first player to defeat professional Halo competitor Michael “Flamesword” Chaves will win the grand prize: a limited-edition Xbox 360 Halo 3 edition console. The console was originally released in 2007 alongside Halo 3’s launch and features a distinctive color scheme designed to match Master Chief’s iconic armor.
Tournament participants must be 18 years or older and will compete using a first-come queue format. Once a player successfully defeats Flamesword, that participant claims the console prize and the tournament ends.
This competition provides an opportunity for Halo 3 enthusiasts to face off against a notable professional player while potentially winning a collectible piece of Xbox gaming hardware from the mid-2000s era. The event showcases ongoing interest in competitive play around the classic first-person shooter.
