Nintendo Music Launches Web Player, With Over 4 Hours of Mario Kart World Tunes
Nintendo Music, the streaming service for video game soundtracks bundled with Nintendo Switch Online, has launched a web player and added the long-requested Mario Kart World soundtrack. The web player, accessible at music.nintendo.com, expands the service beyond its original smartphone app to support browsers on PCs, tablets, and car displays.
The Mario Kart World soundtrack addition brings 130 tracks totaling over 4 hours and 13 minutes to the platform. Nintendo notes that the game’s open-world music—which draws from the broader history of Mario games and is considered by some fans to be a standout element of the soundtrack—will be released in future updates.
The service now hosts soundtracks from more than 130 games across Nintendo’s history, ranging from titles like Pikmin, WarioWare, and Luigi’s Mansion to Super Mario Galaxy. As a Nintendo Switch Online subscription benefit, Nintendo Music continues its effort to preserve video game music and make it accessible across multiple devices and platforms, addressing long-standing fan requests.
