Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition Officially Announced For Switch 2
Ubisoft has officially announced Rayman Origins: Enhanced Edition, launching October 1st, 2026. The enhanced remaster will be included with both the standard and deluxe editions of Rayman Legends Retold.
The Enhanced Edition brings modern improvements to the classic 2D platformer, including 4K resolution and 60 FPS performance. New features include additional collectibles, rewards, and quality-of-life enhancements updated for contemporary gaming standards. The adventure follows Rayman as he saves the Glade of Dreams after it’s overrun by the villainous Darktoons, joined by his best friend Globox and the two crafty Teensies.
By bundling the Enhanced Edition with Rayman Legends Retold, Ubisoft positions both titles as significant releases for Switch 2. The inclusion with Retold’s standard and deluxe editions means players will have access to both the classic platformer and its sequel with the latest modern improvements.
